"I was lucky to work under Loch Anderson that started Foushee with Jeff Foushee right out of the bat in this industry.  Loch taught me to speak up.  To believe that what I think should be heard.  At the time I did not believe him.  He did not take no for answer very well.  It is very important to me to create a space where everyone knows that I respect them and want to hear what they think.  Everyone has a different interesting perspective.  I do not want to miss hearing it and most of all I do not want others to miss it or that person not be given the safe space to share it.  This has made my career pretty easy.  I think this approach to my team is the reason people like working with me.  They answer their phone when I call and are eager to help.  I am having a lot of fun with my new business, introducing my teammates to my new clients."
